Added to it is the official announcement of the Centenary of its declaration as an Order, in virtue of a personal decision of Pope Saint Pius X, which, for the Augustinian Recollects supposes age of maturity.
The Centenary will begin on the 16th of September, and will be closed on the 15th of September 2013.
The program of this so special year will be presented later. Today is the day of raising one’s gaze to the Lord of gifts while continuously looking at the past and present in the plan of history.
The Augustinian Recollects glorify God for the past, present and future. They express it with the official prayer for the Centenary, which the Prior General is distributing today to the communities with a special message.
