The reputation of holiness of Bishop Gallegos, his exemplary virtues, the memory of his love for the people of God is very much alive in the hearts of the Augustinian Recollects and those Catholics in Sacramento, especially the Hispanics, who found in him a faithful and affectionate pastor.
