A history of the St. Thomas Province

The present St. Thomas Province dates from 1907. On the 15 October the General Comisario of the congregation, supported by the text of the Constitutions, created the Hispano-American Province of Our Lady of the Pilar from the convent of Berlanga del Duero, the Spanish houses in Granada, Motril, Lucena and Siguenza plus the new foundation in Zaragoza, the houses in Brazil, Panama, Venezuela, Trinidad and the Colombian Pacific coastline.
