Tirso Alesanco (1917-2011). In memoriam

Early on 11 February, the Augustinian Recollect Fr. Tirso Alesanco died in the convent of San Millán de la Cogolla (La Rioja, Spain). He had just reached his 94th birthday. He is remembered, above all, for his dedication to teaching, for which he had exceptional gifts. His most substantial contribution was the book “Filosofía de San Agustín. Síntesis de su pensamiento”. He was prior provincial, econome, author of several books on history, literature and philosophy, as well as director of the scientific review “Avgvstinvs”.
