The launching of the new website of the Order of Augustinian Recollects had an extraordinary impact on media. Aside from having a significant impact on the specialized media, the news also reached other media groups, like Europa Press, Servimedia, La Vanguardia, COPE or the newspapers of the Prensa Ibérica group (Diario de Ibiza, Faro de Vigo, Información de Alicante, La Opinión A Coruña, La Opinión de Tenerife, La Opinión de Murcia…)
The news even reached the media in the United States (like the catholic.net) and in Argentina (through the aica.org), and through Zenit as well which featured the news in spanish, english y portuguese.

Two weeks after its launching, the website has recorded more than 8,000 visits from 91 countries, mostly coming from Spain, United States, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico Colombia and Italy.

Last Monday, May 5, the first newsletter was sent to subscribers since the launching of the website. The newsletter is the best tool to be updated of the latest actualities of the webpage. At present, there are more than 100 subscribers.
Google and other search engines (MSN, Live, Yahoo!) represent the 13٪ of the web traffic. “Agustinos recoletos,” “recoletos consolación,” “Augustinian recollects,” “mons. Ignacio martínez,” “calendario liturgico,” and “martires de motril” are among the most searched items that localized the Order’s webpage.
IT Professionals
The new webpage of the Order was engineered and designed by Oh! Comunicación, an agency specializing on digital communication and with an extensive experience on religious news or information. The webpage has Vanguard technology (CSS, PHP, XML, Flash, AJAX. . .) and has a support from IT Professionals who, in collaboration with the Order of Augustinian Recollects, have designed and expanded the contents of the website in three languages: Spanish, English and Portuguese.
