That there are two ways in which sin originates, one by spontaneous decision and the other by the persuasion of another, seems to be what the prophet refers to when he says: Clear thou me from hidden faults. Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins (Ps 18,12b-13). But both are committed voluntarily.
