The Order of Augustinian Recollects has had a new priest since last September 7. The Augustinian Recollect Rhuam Ferreira Rodrigues de Almeida (Muqui, Brazil, 1991) was ordained a priest in the parish of San Juan Bautista, in the city where he was born. In his homily, the prelate of Bragança indicated that the priest must be “the image of the good shepherd and a servant with the people of God.” “Brother, you are called to serve, and to serve your people, not wherever you want. Where you are, no matter the place, you will live with your brothers and you will develop your pastoral action,” he encouraged. Also present in the Eucharist was the prior provincial of the Province of Santo Tomás de Villanueva, Miguel Ángel Hernández.
