Enrique A. Eguiarte Bendímez belongs to the Institute of Augustinology OAR in Madrid. The journal Augustinus was born in 1956, during the sixteenth centenary celebrations of the birth of St. Augustine. From then till now it has remained firm to the founding intellectual lines and proposals drawn up by its first director and inspirer Fr. Victorino Capanaga: to have a sure will to serve with a decisive and noble longing for intellectual and moral cooperation”.
