The cause for the beatification of Mother Mariana de San José

Mother Mariana was certainly a great ascetic. Her deep desires for perfection led her to mortify her appetites and chose an austere life, long hours of prayer, mortification in eating and sleeping and in discipline. God grated her gifts and mystical graces, raptures, internal communications, change of heart and spiritual marriage.
