The new communities were named after Blessed Mary of Saint Joseph, Blessed William of Tolouse, Corinth, Jordan River, Golgotha, Bethlehem and Our Lady of Good Counsel. They were born from the “Retreat of Fundamental Evangelization” directed by the Recollect Ivanildo Sales at the Colegio San Ezekiel Moreno, in the city of Santa Fe, Argentina.
The celebration of the Palm Sunday mass, with the presence of the prior of the Province of Saint Thomas of Villanova, Miguel Angel Hernandez Dominguez, and of the Vicar of Argentina, Carlos Maria Dominguez, ended the Retreat of Fundamental Evangelization 2010.
Great feast lived in the city of Santa Fe. New Hearts
The Brazilian religious who has directed this retreat, Ivanildo Sales, explains that “the time of the retreat had ended but the “time of grace” was just starting: The Divine Spirit has been sent and the renewal has crowned “new hearts” ready to evangelize in the love of God.” For this Brazilian Augustinian Recollect who exercises his pastoral work in Argentina, “this great feast lived in the city of Santa Fe did not only form new communities in Christ, but it was also a faithful exhibit of the infinite power of God present among the Augustinian Recollect Youth.”
Father Sales took advantage of the occasion to promote the website of the Order in order to wish everyone “that the Holy Spirit continues to work wonders in the life of the youth; He says then as in the Acts of the Apostles: “We cannot keep silent of what we have seen and heard.”
