This encounter of the youth coming from 14 countries is called WYDRAY, a term that joins the official name of “World Youth Day” and the Order’s, “Recollect Augustinian Youth” (Spanish, JMJAR). Half a thousand participants with 14 nationalities are expected to attend. The seat of the RAY will be at Colegio Agustiniano de Madrid. The prior general and provincial priors, some Recollect bishops and religious with their lay affiliates, coming from different places, are also expected to be present.
Here are some of the most important activities: two encounters in the parishes of Santa Rita and Santa Monica in Madrid, a visit to two of the OAR monasteries located in the capital of Spain, and the catechetical instructions to be given by some of the 19 Augustinian Recollect bishops.
