On the second-to-the-last day of WYD 2011, the Order got a lot of media mileage when it took the headlines of the online newspaper in Spanish with widest readership, elmundo.es.
Specifically, journalists Marcos Torres, R. Domínguez and Z. Rodríguez accompanied during an entire day 26-year old, Augustinian Recollect Youth Santiago Domínguez, showing a day in the life of a pilgrim (https://www.elmundo.es/elmundo/2011/08/19/espana/1313717911.html) The narratives comes with a complete video lasting almost 4 minutes, which starts at Colegio Agustiniano in Madrid and shows not only how the youth communed with each other during the days of encounter with the Pope, but also the activities which transpired on the occasion of that important event.

The coverage on the Order had as principal narrative a blog (https://www.agustinosrecoletos.com//blog/) where 15 posts were published in the Order’s 3 official languages, relating by way of chronicles the day-to-day activities of the Augustinian Recollect youth in Madrid.
The special got more than 3,000 visits and was completed with videos (https://www.youtube.com/user/oarecoletos), wherein young people from different parts of the world gave testimonies about their experiences during the ARWYD 2011. The videos obtained more than 2,000 views and were also disseminated through the social media network where the Order is present:

Readership of the special blog helped obtain for the official portal of the Order more than 24,000 visits during the month of August, a 50% increase as compared to the same month a year earlier. Visits to webpage have exceeded 71,500, a 47% increase as compared to the previous year.
These numbers make August 2011 the third highest month in readership since the web portal of the Order’s launching in 2008. Only the months of October and November 2010 are higher, during the celebration of the 54th General Chapter in Monachil. The number of visits then exceeded 27,000.
