In order to facilitate the browsing and reading of the contents, the Order has launched a new design of the official website. The completely redesigned Home Page offers much more contents, in a more colorful and orderly manner, in order to present a more complete image of the current events and activities of the Order.
Some elements used in the old design are retained. The colors used, for example, are the same: blue is still associated with the Up-to-Date section, yellow with services and purple with the information about the institution. The general structure of the information is neither changed.
Saint Augustine on-line
Coinciding with the anniversary of the foundation of the Recollection ( December 5), a section in which one can send questions about Saint Augustine, has been launched in the website of the Order. A team of experts on Augustinology is in-charge of answering the questions sent.
Enrique A. Eguiarte, author of numerous articles and books about literature, culture and Augustinian themes, the president of the OAR Institute of Augustinology and director of the journal Avgvstinvs, is the first to participate in this section as an expert.
Vocations
Another section in the newly redesigned webpage is a section on vocations. Any young man who aspires to be an Augustinian Recollect can find all the necessary information on this page and establish his first contact with the Order.
This page has been laid out in a simple way so that the users may find response quickly to their concerns.
