Haren Alde has its structure with autonomous seats in Castilla and León, Euskadi, Navarra, La Rioja, Aragón, Madrid, Castilla-La Mancha, the community of Valencia and Andalucía. Each has its working team charged of the different work areas: projects of development, awareness campaign, sponsorships, voluntary enlistment or communication.
Given the structure of Spanish public administrations, it is important for NGO for development to maintain these seats in the Autonomous communities, since many local and autonomous administration, as it is logical, accept only solicitation for development projects from organizations present in their region. Moreover, this permits a more direct work with the persons, allowing the realization of actions according to each local culture.
Haren Alde Valladolid has been operating in Colegio San Agustín for quite some time already and has a young and enthused working team that has already realized many actions of awareness campaign and presentation of development projects in city or town councils and in the autonomous government. Furthermore, it frequently realizes other actions that comply both the principal commitments of whatever NGO for development that focuses on the Millenium Development Goals and on the awareness campaign of the society in front of the problem of the South and solidarity.
