The Augustinian Recollects are preparing for the arrival of Benedict XVI to Mexico.

Benedict XVI will visit Mexico on March 23 to 26. During his stay in the Aztec Country, the Pope will visit the cities of Leon, Guanajuato city and Silao, all of them in the state of Guanajuato. In Leon, in the Bicentennial Park, he will preside in a Mass that will surely be the most multitudinous act.

Tere Garcia, Secular Augustinian Recollect, journalist and anchor of the program “All Mexico we are brothers” in the Capital Radio of Mexico, has again elaborated a series of videos lasting almost thirty seconds, in which persons in the streets express for the first time, what the visit of Benedict XVI means for them.

Visit to Cuba

After his stay in Mexico, on the 26th itself, Benedict XVI will proceed from Mexico to Cuba. There he will visit the Sanctuary of the Virgin of the Caridad del Cobre, in the city of Santiago, and later La Habana, where he will conclude his journey on March 28, the date for his return to Rome.
