Tere García, an Augustinian Recollect tertiary, a journalist and host in the program “Todo México somos hermanos” of Radio Capital, has coordinated an edition of a series of audiovisual clips centered on three aspects. The first segment presents persons of the street, expressing what the first visit of Benedict XVI to Mexico means to them. In the second segment, three encyclicals of the Pope are addressed separately and in different illustrated versions with images of the Mexican reality. Finally, in a four-minute video, a biographical profile of the Holy Father since birth till the present day is offered.
Materials prior to the arrival of Pope Benedict XVI to Mexico are set with the music of the Augustinian Recollect José Manuel González Durán. These elements make up the “Viene en Camino” campaign, with the seal of the OAR and of the CEM, which are aired on various national television channels like María Visión, El Sembrador, KWTV and others local channels within the interior of the country; the same with the podcasts in the Catholic web pages of Mexico and of the world.
The production was conducted by www.anunciación.com.mx, and has the support of the Mexican Bishops and the sons of Saint Augustine, who collaborate in the dissemination of the message of Benedict XVI.
