The 11 June 2013 has died in the city of Bogota Msgr. Olavio López Duque, augustinian recollect and bishop emeritus of the Vicar Apostolic of Casanare, in Colombia.
He was 81 years old and was recovering of a cardiovascular disorder, that had forced him to remain hospitalized in the Clinical Shaio. His health had got over so much and was about to be discharged when, as a consequence of a fall, suffered a hit in the head that caused him a massive cerebral bleeding and his decease.
The burial will take place on Wednesday 12, at 10:00 a.m. in the parish of Saint Nicholas of Tolenine (Agustiniano Norte). It will be presided by the Archbishop Primate of Colombia, Cardinal Rubén Salazar, and concelebrated by the recently appointed Papal Nuncio, Ettore Balestrero. Then he will be buried in the convent of El Desierto de la Candelaria (Ráquira, Boyacá).
