The certification ISO 9001 is a recognition given by Bureau Veritas, that allows any institution, to show its high level of quality of the services offered, and in the case of Uniagustiniana, in its process of development and consolidation of the quality of its strategic processes, missionary and of support.
Specifically, in this case, this quality is certified in all its system, in the academic, administrative, as well as in the support, making it the first institution in Colombia in having this certification which shows the great work done in the assembly between the academic and administrative.
According to the rector himself of the university, Fray Carlos Villabona, “the result achieved has been so positive made possible thru the commitment and belonging of the entire working team, where it was seen the extraordinary effort displayed by everybody in order to timely respond and with quality the observations and summons of the auditor”
Awarding ceremony
The ceremony consisted in the reading and the giving to the rector of the university the certificate, by a representative of Bureau Veritas, an international certifying entity. The rector, in his speech, gave thanks for this achievement and emphasized the great work of all the people who form part of the Uniagustiniana of Colombia. He also emphasized the importance of this certificate for the entire community who place the university one of the best of the country.
The awarding ceremony was liven up with two musical renditions by the orchestra of the university.
The next goal: The national Accreditation of High Quality
The quality certification is the first stage and requirement so that later on the State will grant the Uniagustiniana of Colombia the Accreditation of High Quality, highest distinction that the State can grant and recognize the institution the rights proper of a university, to grant Masteral and Doctoral university degrees.

Professionals are formed that with its quality, his social commitment, its ethical and moral values, contribute in the construction and responsibility in the development of the nation.
The purpose of the Uniagustiniana of Colombia is clear and essential: to lead selflessly and quality of educational process, whose visible results would be the creation of new living conditions where justice, solidarity and the individual and collective development, are the common factor and within the reach for everybody.
