We are convinced that the gospel has to go hand in hand with culture to bring about a change in the listener. Change must come through education. Therefore, under my leadership, it is one of our priorities, “he said.
In order to achieve this goal, he said that in 2017 there will be significant changes in the ‘Programming grid’ of the radio. These are new radio programs that will be included in the ‘Programming grid’ for vacation ‘; and others, in the ‘annual programming grid’.
In Peru, holidays are in the first months of the year. Students have free time; For this reason, Santa Monica Radio, for second year, presents its grid of programming for vacations.
Double Click and The English Club
These are two programs designed for students, which make up a high percentage of the audience of the Catholic radio station. About this, the religious says: “I have talked a lot with children, adolescents, youth and adults and have told me that they have problems with English and computer science. Likewise, the teachers of many schools have told me the shortcomings of the children in English. So we picked up the message and created these programs to give them a hand.”
“Double click” is the name of the program that will address information and communication technologies. This will give listeners practical and simple solutions to problems with computers, tablets, smartphones, iPhones, etc. It will also offer software updates and simple solutions to problems related to the ‘digital world’.
