The RAY of the Philippines is holding its annual assembly in Baguio City this week. Prayer and formation of the youth will be the main topics of these days.
From Monday to Friday, January 24, the youth of the Recollect Augustinian Youth (RAY) in the Philippines are celebrating their 13th National Summit. The assembly has gathered 197 young people from different parts of the Philippines at Casiciaco Recollect Seminary in Baguio City.
For five days, the members of the RAY will have the opportunity to share their faith with other young people from different places. During this week they will have times of prayer and formation on various topics such as discernment and vocation or Augustinian Recollect identity. They will also listen to first hand testimonies of other young people and religious. In the national assembly, the national leaders of the youth movement will also be elected.
The meeting of the Recollect Augustinian Youth in the Philippines is also part of the commemorative events for the 25th anniversary of the creation of the RAY. Young Filipinos will have a special memory on this anniversary.
