Lent is a time of reflection, penance and spiritual preparation for Christians on the road to Easter. So that we can live these weeks as a true time of spiritual renewal and prepare ourselves from the Augustinian Recollect charism, the OAR Lenten project has been prepared together with the Augustinian Recollect Youth (RAY).
These are daily videos, less than a minute long, shared on social networks, in which young people belonging to the RAY from all over the world reflect on the Gospel of the day. These videos seek to accompany more people on their spiritual journey during Lent, inviting them to reflect on the Word of God and to live more deeply this liturgical season.
Feel free to like, comment and share the daily reflection of this #LentOAR!

What are JARs?
To better understand what they are
the ARBs, it is important to know their origin and mission. JAR is the acronym for Augustinian Recollect Youth, a Catholic youth movement promoted by the Order of Augustinian Recollects. Its objective is to live and spread the Augustinian charism among young people, following the example of St. Augustine.
These youth are characterized by being prayerful, communitarian, missionary, Marian and Augustinian, and maintain a total disposition to the service of the Church and actively collaborate in the missions and ministries of the Augustinian Recollect family.
More information about the JAR is available at https://www.jarinternacional.org/
