From October 2 to November 30, the Prior General, Fray Miguel Angel Hernandez, will visit the communities of the Province of St. Ezekiel Moreno in the Philippines, Vietnam, the Marianas Islands and Indonesia. This visit is part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the creation of the Province whose titular is the former bishop of Pasto and missionary in the Philippines and Colombia.
Before starting the trip, the Prior General said that he is not going with a prepared speech, but with the intention of receiving, to dialogue, to be told things, to know the stories, lives, dreams and desires of the religious of the Province.
On this trip, the Prior General will be accompanied by the Secretary General, Fray Luciano Audisio. Over the next two months they will meet with religious, sisters, lay people, secular fraternities, seminarians, the Augustinian Recollect youth, teachers, catechists and collaborators of the apostolic works of the Province of St. Ezekiel Moreno. Fray Miguel Ángel emphasized that the objective of this trip will be fulfilled if, upon his return to Rome, he can learn as much as possible about their lives and works.
