For these two things, necessary in the world, namely, health and friend, the pilgrim wisdom came. He found the wicked men walking without direction, engrossed in superfluous things, loving the ephemeral and ignoring the eternal. Wisdom was not a friend of the wicked. And not being so, rather far from them, took our own and made himself a brother to us. This is the mystery of Christ.
