The Province of St. Ezequiel Moreno has a very long pre-history. In some sense you could say that it all began back in the seventeenth century with the arrival of the Augustinian Recollects in Manila in May 1606. By the middle of 2004 the Province had 138 religious who were involved in education (32 in colleges and universities), ministries (24 in 8 parishes), in formation (23 in 4 seminaries), missions (7) and in administration (5).
