What has surprised us the most is Facebook that has gathered people from 137 countries. These are the countries from which our friends visited the most: Spain (30%), Colombia (11%), Brazil (10%), Mexico (8%), Italy (5%), and USA (5%)
November 2010 was when we inaugurated the Order’s Official Blog the same time we celebrated our 54th General Chapter in Monachil, Granada (Spain). It was well visited and gave information that was used in other means of communication. November was the month with record visits since its beginning.
The material that was most visited during 2010 were the news about the Chapter, the Augustinian thoughts, image galleries, videos and where our friars are working. Close to 11,000 entries were made in our search engine.
Of our total friends in Facebook, 47% are men and 50% are women. Our friends average between 18 and 34 years of age, and the countries that most visit are Venezuela (40%), Argentina (18%), Colombia (9%), Philippines (7%), USA (4%), Spain (3%), and Mexico (3%).
Facebook is the site from which we receive visitors to the Order’s Website. Followed by Google. 150 people follow through Twiter.

That is a 33% increase to our free bulletin subscription. More than a thousand people have written to us through e-mail giving thanks, congratulating us or asking for further information concerning our Order.
