The Chapter of St. Ezekiel Moreno concludes with hope and unity

The 9th Provincial Chapter of the Province of St. Ezekiel Moreno concluded in Cebu (Philippines) after ten days of intense prayer, dialogue and discernment. With the presence of the Prior General of the Augustinian Recollects, Fray Miguel Angel Hernandez, OARMiguel Ángel Hernández, OAR, the province renews its commitment to the mission of the Church, under the motto “Walking together in unity, collaboration and shared purpose.”.

Ten days of discernment and communion

The Chapter began at the Talavera House of Prayer-Recoletos with a day of prayer and Eucharist invoking the Holy Spirit. What followed were days of review of provincial life: reports from the secretariats, evaluations of the mission, and spaces of fraternity that recalled the spirit of communion that defines the Augustinian Recollect family.

“Each day was another step in our desire to live the charism we have received with creative fidelity,” said several capitulars.

The chapter moved from the informative phase to the proposal phase and, finally, to the decisions that will shape the new Life and Mission Project. Life and Mission Project (LAMP) for the next four years.

New prior and provincial council
