Recoletos Podcast is born: a new voice to evangelize on the digital continent

As part of the campaign August with A for Augustinethe Augustinian Recollects present Recollects Podcasta renewed commitment to bring the Augustinian charism to the heart of the listeners. The project begins with the re-launching of the podcast Inquietaravailable from Thursday, August 21 on the main audio platforms.

A new voice for a digital world

Music, words and new languages are privileged ways to proclaim the Gospel in the 21st century. Aware of this, the Order of Augustinian Recollects is taking another step forward in its mission with the launching of the Recoletos Podcasta space designed for those who seek inspiration, interiority and companionship in the midst of daily life.

Each episode will be an opportunity to be challenged by the spirituality of St. Augustine, by his passionate love for Christ and by the transforming power of the Recollect charism.

The return of Restless

The project starts with the relaunch of the podcast Inquietarpodcast, which will be heard again in a fresh, close and weekly format. Starting August 21, listeners will be able to enjoy a new episode every Thursday on their favorite podcasting platforms: Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, among others.

“Inquietar” echoes the famous phrase of St. Augustine: “You made us, Lord, for you, and our heart is restless until it rests in you”. It is an invitation to live with an awakened heart, to seek the truth and to allow oneself to be transformed by grace.

August with A for Augustine: a month to listen to the heart

This launching is part of the campaign August with A for Augustinewhich throughout the month offers special content to return to the heart, listen to the inner Master and rediscover the richness of Augustinian spirituality. With Recoletos Podcast, the Augustinian Recollects reinforce their presence in the digital continent, sharing hope in a language adapted to the times of today.

An invitation to walk together

Recoletos Podcast wants to be more than a program: it aspires to be a companion on the journey of faith, a friendly voice that helps to discover that the Christian life is always a story of hope. As St. Augustine recalled in one of his sermons: “Let us sing to the Lord a new song. Not with our tongues, but with our lives” (Serm. 34).
