Quote 04 3

There are two aspects of our bodies which we must consider: one is that which God made, the other is that which comes from our just punishment. The whole bodily form, posture, movement, the order of the members, the structure of the senses –sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch –all this bodily harmony and distinction can only be the work of God Who made all that is, the heavens and the earth, the heights and the depths, the visible and the invisible. What then is there of our punishment? That corruptibility, fragility, mortality, and indigence none of which will be there in the reward.

Enarrationes in Psalmos 141, 18.
