While not entering into the epistemic conditions for inculturating or inserting an ancient narrative into a meaningful dialogue with contemporary idioms, it is suggested in this brief paper that the “divided” or “fragmented” self of the world of shopping malls and happenings might confess to a need for a corner of solitude open to an illuminating experience of its own infinite horizons.
